Powers Boothe Electrifying

Powers Boothe, an accomplished actor who played the evil Cy Tolliver in Deadwood will be starring in some interesting movies to be released in 2008 and 2009.

Currently filming "Edison and Leo," Boothe plays "Edison" to Gregory Smith's "Leo." (In a "Deadwood coincidence," Smith played opposite Ian McShane in the moving "The Dark is Rising.") The bizarre plot focuses on Edison's son Leo who is accidentally electrocuted as a child and grows up to be "Electric Boy." Naturally expect strange events to follow.

Boothe is also one of the actors in "Sin City 2" that is in pre-production and slated to be released in 2009. This is a sequel to "Sin City," and he plays the character of Senator Roark.
